DrumDog is an excellent drum school owned and operated by Steve Browne, a highly experienced musician and National Board Certified teacher in secondary music. With over 30 years of experience playing in jazz bands, Steve holds a bachelor's degree in music from Southern University at Edwardsville, a master's degree in Music Education from The University of Florida, and is pursuing a second master's in jazz performance from SIUE. Steve has also played in the Band Directors Marching Band under the Michael D Sewell Foundation, performing in the Tournament of the Roses Parade in 2022 and the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in 2023. Steve is also the owner and operator of his band Barrelhouse Big Band.
